Now it’s been a little while since my last post, i’ve been working on my training business over the last couple of months, to some relative success… that is, for the most part i’ve managed to replace my old income (Full time job) with a business income.
It’s taken a year, and it’s been great fun! (And thanks to everyone who provided encouragement and support during the last year… muchly appreciated!)
Now most of who are reading this will either be ex students or current students, with a smattering of friends included. In theory, I should know just about everyone who reads this post personally. And you should know me!
So Tell Me this:
Given the breadth of information that’s out there on starting a business, or sales, or management etc, what would you like to learn?
You’re all doing business or management courses or degrees at the moment, and I know that the majority of it is theory, and so not that useful for the real world….
What is useful to you in the real world?
So if I asked you to list the 2 things that you’d most like to learn about… real things that would have some practical value in your work or business life, what would they be?
Is it sales? Is it marketing? Is it how to actually get a business up and running? Is it OH&S? 
Possibly it’ll be about Robert Cialdini and his influencers… or sales and marketing psychology?

PS: You’ll also be helping all of the students that I’ll be working with over the next 6 months… As most of you know, sometimes the standard curriculum can be a little less than exciting.
