Hey there! today we’re going to take a look at how to change the dashboard view in your WordPress Admin area. While really simple to do, the interface is a little non-intuitive and even through it’s right in front of you can take some searching!
If you ever install a plugin that says that it has a dashboard view, but you don’t see it, you’ll often be able to enable it by using this tutorial.
If you need some detailed information on the WordPress dashboard go to http://codex.wordpress.org/Dashboard_Screen

How To Change the Dashboard View in WordPress
Step 1: Click on “Screen Options” which is in the top right corner of your admin dashboard. You should see a new section of the dashboard drop down with the title “Show on screen” and a bunch of check boxes with descriptions next to them.
Step 2: If you want the section to show on your dashboard then make sure that the check box has a tick in it, and if you want to remove the section from you admin then just uncheck the boxes. You can also choose how many columns you’d like in your dashboard if you wish. Just go back and click the radio buttons next to “Number of columns” to do this. I suggest having a play around to see how you like it to look.
Step 3: Once you’re finished all you need to do is click the “Screen Options” button again and everything will slide up and disappear leaving you with a dashboard that only has the features that you want to be there!
And that’s it! Deceptively simple!
Hope you enjoyed the tutorial on how to change the dashboard view, and have a great day!
Cheers,
